Strada della Casa delle Streghe (La Strada de la Cò di Streï)
Antica strada che fa da confine con il comune di Brivio, deve il suo nome ad una casa posta sul limitare del bosco, che veniva indicata dalla popolazione di Arlate , come luogo d’incontro delle streghe.
Il luogo ha sempre avuto un malefico influsso sugli abitanti della zona, tanto che nel 1888 un semplice incidente dovuto ad un cavallo imbizzarrito venne attribuito al nefasto influsso del luogo.

La Rue de la Maison des Sorcières
C’est une ancienne rue à la limite de la commune de Brivio, elle doit son nom à une maison qui se trouve à la limite du bois, qui, selon les habitants de Arlate, était le point de rencontre des sorcières.
Ce lieu a toujours eu une influence maléfique sur les habitants au point qu’en 1888 un simple accident dû à un cheval emballé fut attribué à la néfaste influence du lieu.
The Witches House Road
It is An old road on the boundary with the territory of Brivio.
The road was named after a house located at the entrance of the forest which was believed to be a witches meeting place by the inhabitants of Arlate.
People always had a bad feeling about this place, in the year 1888 a little accident due to a restive horse was believed to be happened because of the witches spells.
